Taste of the South dinner at The Farm, Old Edwards Inn – Highlands Culinary Weekend
Everyone arrived that chilly mountain evening to a warm and inviting room with a roaring fire in the fireplace while listening to the sounds of Curtis Blackwell and the Dixie Bluegrass Band. Guests were served local (and excellent) wines from Yonah Mountain Vineyards in North Georgia and local artisan beers.

I was very excited to see some of our good friends and local farmers participating in the event that evening. Zeb Zolley from Jolley Farms was there with his wife, June, as was Sally Eason and her son, Wes Eason, from Sunburst Trout. Some of the other local purveyors were from Springer Mountain Farms and Barker’s Creek Mill (which has been in existence in North Georgia since the mid-1800’s).

This looks like such a fun event! Love how it was in an Inn 🙂
That looks like so much fun! I love how close together the “farm” and the “table” were. The food looks delicious and I’m sure the company was very entertaining! Love the bluegrass too!
what an inspiring event, and to see the bond that formed over this shows the worthiness… a great catalyst for all
