Charleston Wine & Food Festival – Part Two
Some other highlights from our weekend included a few rendezvous with Chef John Besh (John Besh Restaurants – New Orleans) and breakfast with Chef Craig Deihl (Cypress – Charleston) at High Cotton restaurant Saturday morning. We also met with Chef Anthony Lamas (Seviche – Louisville) prior to his Sustainable Seafood Dinner at Rue de Jean Saturday evening. More on that very soon.
With Chef Anthony Lamas at Rue de Jean
For a really special weekend filled with more wine and food events than you can imagine and lots of star chef gazing, then you might want to plan your next visit to Charleston for the 2013 Charleston Wine and Food Festival.
If you have never been to Charleston, or have not traveled there recently, I highly recommend a visit to enjoy the Southern hospitality, charm, amazing food and all that this city has to offer. For those of you who are passionate about great food and are inspired by talented chefs using unique local ingredients, then this is a city that will capture your heart.

What an incredible time you must have had! I;m so jealous of the Food and Wine with a View – A Night in Italy dinner you had. Chefs Andrew Carmelini and Michael Tusk are among my all time favorites in the industry.
I love your write up and photos of this festival because it’s almost like being there. For now I have to live vicariously through your ventures lol I’ve been to Charleston once, but I was a kid, too young to appreciate it’s old southern charm. So many chefs, so little time!
