On The Road to Arizona

Grand Canyon

The whole object of travel is not to set foot on foreign land; it is at last to set foot on one’s own country as a foreign land. ~ G. K. Chesterton

Greetings from Arizona!

Mr. B and I are about halfway through a two week adventure to several destinations in the beautiful state of Arizona.  Also known as the Grand Canyon State, Arizona is considered to be part of the Southwestern and Western part of the United States.  Traveling here has once again reminded me of how majestic and magical so many places are in our own country, particularly out west.  You really do not have to travel far to experience extraordinary beauty, excellent food, and different cultures; sometimes the best finds are right in your own backyard.

We planned this trip in search of adventure and great culinary destinations, but also came with a purpose to recharge and renew.  Every so often you need a reset and travel is a great way to gain a new perspective and create inspiration.

Each time we travel, no matter how close to or how far from home, we hope to come away with some unique stories to share with our readers.  This trip has certainly provided that on so many levels.

We look forward to sharing special places to visit, dine, and stay.  We also hope to inspire you to travel, experience something different, and see things in a new way as you plan your own On the Road adventures.
